THANKS to Cowdenbeath company CR Smith a vandalised heritage interpretation board has been repaired.
Benarty Heritage Preservation Group contacted Kevin at CR Smith in order to get a quote for a glazier to repair a damaged interpretation board which is situated in Abbotsford Road, Lochore.
Said BHPG secretary Jane Shehata: "The glass was shattered and because it was an act of vandalism was an eyesore and quite dangerous and becoming a health and safety issue to members of the public.
"Our group rely on funding and it would take excess amount of time to collate quotes for repair bills.
"Kevin from CR Smith was contacted and 'Saved our Day.' He has carried out an excellent repair job totally renewing the old glass to be replaced by much more toughened bullet proof glass to deter further attacks from occurring and he executed the task all 'Free of Charge'!
"We can now carry on our event schedule without any further concerns! Excellent Customer Service! well done CR Smith!"
