FIFE Council is reminding people who receive housing benefit how important it is to report any changes to their household or income.

Councillor Altany Craik, Executive Spokesperson for Finance said: “We know that too many families are living in poverty and we want people to get the benefits they’re entitled to. Our team are here to offer advice and make sure you’re getting all the financial assistance possible.

“But it’s also vital people get in touch if anything changes once their benefits have been approved. We need to know if you change address, if someone moves in or out of your home or if you - or your partner - start earning more or less".

To report a change in your circumstances that may affect your benefits, go to www.fifedirect.org.uk/changes at any time or - during office hours - call 03451 55 11 55 or email benctax.enquiries@fife.gov.uk
