THIS week's Down Memory Lane pictures come from a Benarty exile living in Yorkshire.
Ella Thomson has lived in Barnsley for over 50 years but still warmly remembers her childhood in Glencraig.
And she found these old pictures among a collection she has and thought Times readers might enjoy seeing them.
These show a class at Glencraig Primary School thought to be around the 50s, a shot of Glencraig Miners Institute, an iconic building in the village and like the colliery, pictured in 1925, part of the mining tradition which saw the population rise to around 2000 at one time. The other picture shows Glencraig House in pre-war days.
If you have a picture you would like to see in Down Memory Lane email them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, lochgelly, KY5 9QQ on a Monday or a Friday.
