MRS McKay's S3 drama class at Beath presented 'A Night at the Theatre' on Thursday November 3 to an audience of friends and family.
The idea came to Mrs McKay as she was very impressed watching rehearsals on a selection of play extracts, including; 'The Importance of Being Earnest', 'Men Should Weep' and 'Tally's Blood'.
After watching these she proposed an evening performance to her pupils all of whom responded with excitement, keen for the opportunity to test their skills in front of a live audience.
Mrs McKay told the class: "We've never done this before, not with an S3 class."
But this class showed such commitment and promise they all thought, why not!!
Audience feedback was excellent and the pupils did themselves proud, with all of them buzzing with excitement after facing their fears and building their confidence. This was a night to remember for all involved.
