Lochgelly High School are preparing to host their annual Christmas concert later this month.

The concert will have a vast array of musical entertainment on offer including a steel band, wind band, junior and senior pipe bands, percussion ensemble, guitar ensemble and a brass ensemble.

There will also be a woodwind group and a violin group performing on the night.

Mandy Miller, principal teacher of music, said: “The young people have all been working hard in preparation for the concert and are excited and looking forward to performing for friends and families.

“The undisputed highlight is always the performance of Highland Cathedral at the end of the concert with Pipe Band and Wind Band.”

The event will take place at Lochgelly Centre on Tuesday, December 19 at 7pm.
