THE Met Office has issued yet another yellow weather warning for rain in Fife. 

Heavy rain is set to batter the Kingdom from the early hours of tomorrow (Tuesday, April 9) with a warning in place from 1am until 6pm. 

The Met Office is warning that flooding could accompany the heavy rain. Members of the public should be aware that homes and businesses could become flooded, power cuts and a loss of other services could occur, and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures, together with possible delays or cancellations to train and bus services. 

Fast-flowing or deep floodwater is possible is also possible. 

To prepare for the possible flooding, the Met Office has issued advice. They wrote on their website: "Check if your property could be at risk of flooding. If so, consider preparing a flood plan and an emergency flood kit.

Central Fife Times: Flooding is a possibility as another yellow weather warning is issued for Fife.

"Give yourself the best chance of avoiding delays by checking road conditions if driving, or bus and train timetables, amending your travel plans if necessary.

"People cope better with power cuts when they have prepared for them in advance. It’s easy to do; consider gathering torches and batteries, a mobile phone power pack and other essential items.

"Be prepared for weather warnings to change; the Met Office recommends staying up to date with the weather forecast in your area."
