Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre hosted a temporary closing event before the venue shut for refurbishments.
As previously reported in the Times, Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre is closed from today (Monday, April 15), to undergo £8 million of refurbishment plans. The venue will be closed for approximately 14 months while this is happening.

The centre held a closing event on Saturday, April 13. Staff and loyal customers were invited to take part in a range of fitness sessions including Metafit, BodyPUMP workout, Les Mills Shapes class, and the Less Mills Strength Conditioning. There was even a pickleball festival.
There was a Grand Finale Boot Camp where everyone was welcome to join no matter their fitness level.
And there was a closing party celebration at the end of all the fitness classes.
