road closed
A STRETCH of Station Road in Lochgelly will be closed overnight for bridge inspection works.
Fife Council has made a temporary order which will shut the road between the railway station car park and 141 Station Road.
The closure will be in place from 10pm on Wednesday October 5 to 6am on Thursday October 6.
The council said the alternative route for through traffic will be via the B981, B921 and B9097.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the works.
