LAST night's round of East Super League games saw Kelty Hearts strengthen their hold on the top of the table.

They managed to overcome Jeanfield Swifts away from home by the odd goal in five while Hill of Beath Hawthorn lost by the only goal of the game at home to Camelon.

Meanwhile Dundonald Bluebell were also home losers.

Hearts found Jeanfield hard to subdue despite an early goal from Shaun O'Neil.

A penalty let Swifts back into the game but Hearts were determined to keep their 100 per cent record intact and Scott Dalziel put them ahead once more.

When Conrad Courts made it 3-1 things looked safe but Swifts scored again to make a nervy last quarter for Kelty but they held on.

Camelon came to Keirs Park determined to deny Hill of Beath Hawthorn space and they made it a frustrating evening for Haws.

There were chances for the home side but none were taken and a second-half gooal gave the Falkirk side all three points.

At Moorside there were plenty of goals and Lochee United started the game well and were two up in 16 minutes.

Ten minutes later Scott Lawrie's free-kick reduced the leeway and then he netted from the spot to square things but a penalty at the other end gave United the points.
