THE LHS DAS cross country team took part in the first event this session, at Peffermill in Edinburgh, and there were some really encouraging performances.
The results were – boys 2K, Gary Fraser, 5th in 12 minutes 13 seconds; Connor Todd, 7th in 15 mins 18 secs; girls 2K, Michelle Harley, 1st in 18 mins 9 secs; 1K boys, Landon McKinnon, 6th in 5 mins 28 secs, Shakeel Ul-Haq, 15th in 6 mins 28 secs,
Khorum Ul-Haq, 29th in 7 mins 31 secs, Reece Philp, 31st in 7 mins 35 secs; 1K girls, Chloe Ramsay, 5th in 8 mins, Amy Dignan, 6th in 8 mins 16 secs, Kayshaleigh Lambert, 7th in 8 mins 20 secs, Courtney Morris, 12th in 9 mins 19 secs, Derry Reilly, 13th in 9 mins 41 secs.
Well done to the team as well as Mrs Spokes and the staff who have been working with the pupils.
